History

Youth in Action is a program that partnered with Emploi-Québec. This program is derived from the Stratégie d'action jeunesse 2006-2009 action plan, which aims to ensure that all youth succeed.

Mission

For 20 hours a week, 2 counselors will help you in your approach. You will benefit from a personalized accompaniment and participate in group activities based on various themes (self-awareness; decision-making; job search; the job market; academic information and planning; social problems and the appropriate resources; daily and community life).

Clients

Youth aged 18 to 24 years old who have difficulty with socio-professional integration.

Objectives

• Set goals;
  
• Take part in learning activities and projects that allow the youth to develop social, professional and personal autonomy;
  
• Strengthen abilities that value initiative, control, self-esteem and self-confidence through a process that implicates the communities synergy.
